Salesforce is now live on Amazon Web Services (AWS) Cloud infrastructure in Australia.
The strategic relationship means AWS customers in Australia can access the Salesforce Customer Success Platform, which includes Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Salesforce Platform, Community Cloud on the AWS Sydney Region.
Randy Kern, EVP infrastructure engineering and chief infrastructure officer, Salesforce, says the partnership with AWS allows Salesforce to bring new infrastructure online faster and efficiently with one of the most reliable and resilient public clouds.
Telstra and icare are the first Australian Salesforce customers to access the Salesforce Customer Success Platform, and both customers have partnered with Salesforce to help drive digital transformation in their businesses.
AWS and Salesforce partnered with the goal of helping customers simplify and expand how they capture, analyse and take action on data. The AWS Salesforce alliance extends beyond Australia with Salesforce leveraging AWS infrastructure to support its customer base in Canada.
