eStorm Australia is proud to announce we have been awarded ISO 27001 certification
In an ever-evolving security landscape, it’s becoming increasingly important for organisations to implement robust systems and processes that protect and secure sensitive data and information assets. ISO 27001 is the global benchmark for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). Developed through a partnership between the International Organization for Standardization (ISO) and the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), ISO 27001 encompasses 114 security control methods that address people, policies and technology. Additionally, the ISMS provides a framework for organisations to implement a best practice approach to their information security.
As leaders in the technological space, eStorm pursued ISO 27001 certification to prove to our clients our commitment to securing, improving and protecting not just our own information assets, but the sensitive data and assets of our customers and clients. Certification is a critical milestone for our organisation, forming the basis for continually improving and refining our system to respond to ever-evolving changes in the digital landscape. The certification process involves an extensive independent expert assessment of the standards to ensure that our systems effectively identify and manage security risks.
Attaining ISO 27001 certification means we have formally achieved the most globally recognised level of industry-standard security practices. The process has helped us reinforce a strong security culture and aligns us with worldwide government standards regarding our implementation and approach to risk management.
The journey towards certification was oftentimes demanding, tedious, and challenging, but it was also incredibly insightful. With the hurdles towards certification in our rear-view mirrors and the certification officially under our belts, we can now confidently provide the guidance and experience needed to help our clients reach the ISO 27001 finish line and ace their own audits.
